What is a friend?

friendship-31a

It really isn’t that hard to have a friend.

You meet someone, through family or work or school or church or life in general.

And you like them! And they like you. Friends.

So you find things that you like to do together and you talk about things and slowly life changes. And the only thing that really matters is that you keep being a friend. You’re quiet when your friend needs quiet and you’re loud and obnoxious when the occasion calls for it. You need to be unselfishly happy for the other person when things are going well and there for them when tough times roll around.

You can sit at a restaurant, or on the couch, and be completely content to stuff your faces with food and not even say a thing.

It really isn’t that hard to have a friend.

You just have to know one when you see one, and hang on tight.
